Jim Knisely

James T. Knisely, born January 22, 1965 has been playing the guitar for over 28 years. He became addicted to the instrument at a young age. James T. started playing the bass guitar around the same time. He began performing professionally at the age of 16 and started teaching private lessons for the guitar and bass guitar at the age of 18. After high school, James T. spent years on the road playing four to six nights a week with a variety of bands. He now performs two to four nights a week in a two-piece instrumental group playing the guitar and/or playing bass guitar in a three-piece band. James T. teaches more than 60 guitar lessons weekly with adults and children. He feels fortunate to be able to make his living with his first love…the guitar. James T. stated, “The Heritage Golden Eagle is just the cream of the crop and sounds so sweet!”
