James Parker

J
ames got his first guitar at the age of 3. A natural love for the instrument propelled him to explore the work of most of the pop bands or the 60's and 70's, along with, many blues guitarists. Good fortune came in form of studying with jazz virtuoso, Jackie King (guitarist for Willie Nelson) at the Guitar Conservatory of the Southwest. That stimulated him to explore the depths of jazz guitar. James has played with many road bands, including Ray Peterson (“Tell Laura I Love Her”). For the last 10 years, he has worked for Carnival Cruise Lines as solo guitarist. In his own words, “I am very pleased to be endorser of Heritage Guitars. These are truly the finest guitars I have come across.”
